FETC Preparation Courses for College and University life have been proven to be a success with individual students as well as student groups under the Erasmus Student Exchange Programme.
Our approach is offering EFL residential stays to combine lectures and studying with various typically English cultural activities – this way you learn more and retain more because you are more involved and engaged!
These cultural activities help you fully appreciate the richness of the English language and culture. Especially if you are going to be studying and working here.
You get to experience how exciting and rewarding student life in the UK can be, before you commit to a costly University or College course – and if you have already decided that you wish to study in Britain, then this is an excellent and professional way of getting prepared!
For students and participants from Muslim countries, we offer special packages, which include Halal dietary and separate accommodation for female and male students. Participants are typically hosted in the beautiful English countryside in a historical Estate house with a cultural heritage going back several centuries. By having the tuition on site, you don’t have to waste time commuting.
Set within the stunning location of Old Warden Park, Shuttleworth College offers a wide variety of full-time and part-time courses, making full use of the natural resources available, which include parkland, farm land, lakes and woodland. What a great place to study! If you live at a distance you can benefit from our travel scheme, or you might like to consider staying in our Halls of Residence – often our students are so happy living on site that they don’t want to leave!

Experiencing Culture in Cambridge through visiting the famous university colleges, its historical buildings, its many traditional eating places, where often historical figures have sat. Weather permitting, you have the opportunity to ‘punt’ on the river Cam – i.e. moving along in a boat. One of the most quintessential English activities you can try your hand at.
In keeping with our high professional standards, our EFL Programme - English as a Foreign Language - is delivered together with a collaborative partner. Oaklands College is a further education college in Hertfordshire, United Kingdom. It was established in 1991. The college has campuses in St Albans and Welwyn Garden City, with a further provision in Borehamwood.
